About Robin

When you grow up in a family of small business owners, you learn a lot about hard work. Robin's mother was a REALTOR/broker and her father was a builder. So, it is only natural that Robin and two of her sisters also became REALTOR and share the same family passion.

"My parent's taught me that hard work was never optional. I witnessed their honesty, and integrity, taking pride in the work they did, caring for people, and always doing the right thing. From my work experience, I learned how to see the big picture, and prioritize and foresee needs before clients even realized those needs. I learned to add value by preventing problems before they occur." - Robin.

Robin graduated from UMass, Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. She relocated to Darien in 1994 where she worked for Marriott and Sodexo. Repeated promotions led her to run the state of Connecticut's K-12 Food Service Operations. She met strict budgets and deadlines, negotiated contracts, and design creative solutions to ever-changing challenges. Her responsiveness and collaborative approach to problem-solving earned her the respect of colleagues and customers.

Robin and her husband, Mark, purchased their Fairfield home in 2006. The Greenfield Hill neighborhood they chose balanced their collective wishes -- the peacefulness and privacy of a large yard, a town marina, a multitude of restaurants/shops/activities, a strong school system, easy accessibility into Manhattan for Broadway shows, and reasonable proximity to skiing. These days, they enjoy fishing off Fairfield's beaches with their two sons and hiking the nearby trails with their dog, Brady (a tribute to Robin's Massachusetts roots).

Robin belongs to the Gaelic American Club and is an active member of the community. She has been involved with the Fairfield National Little League for ten years and coordinates the Rake & Bake for senior citizens at Tomlinson Middle School. She volunteers with the Center for Family Justice, Merton House, and SASO (a philanthropic leadership/service program for mothers and sons). Robin also enjoys tennis and was a sprint triathlete who ran the Fairfield Half Marathon before turning her efforts toward chairing the Running Club at Burr Elementary.

As she reflected upon her time growing up on Cape Cod, Robin recognized that her skills and interests coincided perfectly with launching her own career in real estate. Her family background taught her the importance of strong client relationships. As a REALTOR/broker, her mom exemplified how to build those bonds by listening to the client's needs, making yourself available as needed, and earning and keeping their trust. Robin realized she had already built one successful career upon these core values and she knew they could propel her to success once again.

Robin thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new. Whatever the budget - whether buying, selling, or renting - Robin's attentiveness, energy, and resourcefulness mean one thing, happy clients. Fowler Sakey & Team encourages you to put Robin's intellect, passion, and enthusiasm to work for you!
