About Kristen
Kristen DeLaurentiis is a Long Island native who fell in love with Fairfield, Connecticut as a teen. She visited family here often and recalls appreciating the personality and individuality of the various home styles, something that her own hometown lacked. She loved the quaint town, beaches, and New England feels.
Kristen has been a valued member of the Fowler and Company team since 2014 and she is, quite simply, unstoppable. 'Slow down is not part of Kristen's vocabulary. Even when faced with a Breast Cancer diagnosis, while completing her treatments, Kristen continued to work and sustained her avid community involvement. Among her many roles, William Raveis Ride and Walk volunteer, Cancer Couch volunteer, PTA volunteer and committed 'soccer mom'.
Kristen has an extensive financial background and understands the magnitude of responsibility she has toward her clients, managing what is likely to be their largest asset. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University with a BA in Business. She enjoyed a successful career in Finance as a Foreign Exchange Trader for Caisse Des Depot et Consignations (a French bank), and as a Short Term Money Market Trader for Barclays Bank.
When Kristen chose to leave a successful career in Finance, she was looking for more flexibility to balance her professional and personal commitments, and she has many of them! For a while, Kristen worked as Managing Director for the SportsPlex in Fairfield, overseeing all programs, staff, camps, and planning. She is a fitness enthusiast and organizational powerhouse who started Fairfield Running Group to inspire people who didn't run to train for and finish the Fairfield Half Marathon. Under Kristen's leadership, FIFTY non-runners finished the race while supporting the non-profit group, Tiny Miracles. When Kristen isn't working with clients or volunteering, you will find her gardening, cheering on her daughters at a soccer game, or walking her family's puppy, a Mini-Golden Doodle.
Kristen has lived in the beach area of Fairfield since she got married in 1999 and most of her Long Island family has migrated here as well. With three teenage daughters, Kristen appreciates the walkability of her neighborhood everyone can easily get themselves to the beach, town, schools, restaurants, library, and train station. Her family values independence and freedom.
Kristen describes her style as 'not sales and says that clients probably consider her to be quiet. She prefers to listen, rather than talk which is probably why her clients feel so well-understood in terms of their goals. With Kristen's knowledge, competence, confidence, and competitive spirit, she is the REALTOR you want by your side!
